Festivals & Events
Albany is host to many exciting and fun things to do throughout the year. Below is an overview of some of Albany's favorite festivals and events.
Summer Fun
For over twenty years, the River Rhythms and Mondays at Monteith summer concert series have drawn people from all around the state of Oregon to the beautiful Monteith Riverpark to listen to such acts as Sugarland, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, and Roseanne Cash.
At the end of August, the Northwest Art & Air Festival takes over Timber Linn Park with food, arts & crafts, live entertainment, free airplane rides for children, hot air balloons, and a mainstage concert which has presented music by Christopher Cross, Johnny Rivers, and Los Lobos. Adjacent to Timber Linn Park is the Linn County Fair & Expo which hosts a variety of events throughout the year including horse & dog shows, extreme sports competitions, concerts, the county fair, and much more.
Honoring Those Who Serve
November is the time when we honor our men and women in uniform who have or currently serve our country. Albany hosts one of the biggest Veteran's Day parades west of the Mississippi. This great community event is presented by the Veterans Commemoration Association who can be contacted at P.O. Box 3241, Albany, Oregon 97321, 541-981-2390 or by email at albanyveteransdayparade@gmail.com.

Fun For the Whole Family
In December, the whole family can enjoy the lights, smells, and joy in the air at the annual Christmas Storybook Land at the Linn County Fair & Expo.
From January to May, Albany's children delight in performances by musicians, acrobats, animals, and puppets during the annual Children's Performing Arts Series.
