Nonprofit Grant Applications
The City of Albany Council and Budget Committee believe that nonprofits provide a valuable service to the community and they continue to be interested in supporting contributions these organizations make. The City departments will accept applications for Nonprofit Grants for Fiscal Year 2011-2012 provided the applications meet the requirements as outlined in Resolution 5089 passed by the Council on January 26, 2005.
Specific information about the services your organization provides that explains how you support programs that otherwise would be provided by the City are an important part of the application.
Budget Year 2011-2012 Nonprofit Grant applications will be accepted starting Tuesday, February 15, 2011, and are available by contacting the City Clerk, in the City of Albany Finance Department, located in City Hall, at 333 Broadalbin Street, or betty.langwell@cityofalbany.net, or 541-917-7524. A Nonprofit Grant will not be considered unless accompanied by an application.
The application is due to the City Clerk before 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2011.
